Spring 2016 Skin Care Routine (Acne Prone Skin)

Sunday, February 28, 2016

Hey Loves! I have another post for you guys on my everyday skin care routine day & night. If you notice I did have another skin care routine about a few months ago but my skin care has changed and my face feels a lot better than before so this is just an update for you guys. Keep on reading to find some amazing products you need in your skin care routine.

This took a lot of guts to put an actual picture of my bare face. This photo contains no photoshop as you can tell and I have absolutely no make up on. If you have known me for a while you would know I have had the worst luck with acne and scarring. However many people have noticed my skin has gotten visibly better and ask what I do to it so I decided to post a skin care routine for everyone.

My face background:

I suffered with severe acne since I was around 11 and I've seen so many dermatologists growing up and tried every miracle cream. A majority of them didn't work and I was just too young to stick with a product because I didn't see any results. When I turned 19 I went on Accutane also know as Isotretinion which helped get rid of all my acne but now as you can still see I still break out every once in a while and I'm left with acne scars. My skin is combination skin but more on the dry side sometimes. My skin is also very sensitive to products especially when they contain strong perfume scents. I'm very cautious on any new products I try.

(Please note this is my skin care routine and I don't guarantee it will work for everyone but this is just what works for my face.)

First thing I do is I cleanse my face with my Clarisonic Mia 2 and Lancome Creme Mousse Confort. After that is done I dry my face and move on to my matching cleanser toner. Once that is done I move on to Lancome Genifique and then Lancome Bienfait Mulit-Vital. Moving on to my eyes I use the Renergie Lift and then Bienfait Multi-Vital Eye with SPF 28.

(Also in no way am I sponsored by Lancome, I just ended up trying out a sample set and I fell in love with it.)

Once I remove my make up I follow up with my Clarisonic Mia 2 but this time I use it with PanOxyl. If you have acne you should try PanOxyl it really does work and has to be one of my favorite drug store acne wash. It is drying but that's just it working it's magic, so if you do try it make sure you moisturize after. To be honest I'm surprised many dermatologists have yet to hear about it because it really is a miracle product. Moving on after I rinse my face I put on my Lancome toner, Lancome Genifique, Bienfait Multi-Vital Night Cream, and Renergie Eye Lift.

The only two products that change for night time is my cleanser and my moisturizer.

That is my skin care routine for you guys. I hope you guys found some products that you want to try. If you aren't sure about buying these products you can visit sephora and they have free samples of any products you want to try.

You can also find PanOxyl at Walmart and Walgreens.

If you have any questions you can comment down below or send me a message on any of my social media I will be happy to respond back.
